My name is Yana Bogatch, and I am a freelance illustrator/character designer/comic artist, currently residing in Toronto, Canada. I have a Bachelor's degree in Traditional Animation, and a background in music.

Drawing has been learning and creating a different language that allows me to catch a glimpse of what goes on in my nebulous mind. This is why I have always looked at drawing itself as a tool, and with every piece of knowledge or skill I gain, I grant myself the ability to slowly dissipate the fog, and give my hidden reality a higher resolution, ever expanding its borders. I am committed to creating an immersive experience with my illustrations / comics, and my ultimate desire is to let the viewer step through the veil, and feel like they are there with the characters.

I'm currently working on my debut graphic novel titled "Grimoire Noir", written by Vera Greentea, and due to be released in late 2017.
